Dr. Enoh

BIO

Before becoming a consultant Anesthesiologist, the obstacles he had to overcome almost kept him from this dream. “Nothing pushes me more than that need to prove the doubters wrong and there have been many. ” he says

Dr. Enoh studied Medicine in Germany, where he overcame language and sociocultural barriers to graduate from Medical School. He was only one of 2 foreigners to graduate in his class of more than 150.

Dr. Enoh moved to the US were he did a residency in Anesthesiology.

His dedication to his specialty has lead him to want to be a problem solver and wants to give back. He is an example of ” believing in yourself ” even when others do not.

Dr. Enoh is proficient in general anesthesia, Trauma Anesthesia, Cardiovascular anesthesia, Regional and Neuro anesthesia. His dedication to Airway management is because he understands that airway matters in every clinical scenario and that the only way to educate people is to provide the access and options for people to share.

Dr. Enoh believes that airway management skills should not be just limited to those who actually deal with airway but that basic mastery should be a skill for anyone and everyone who wants to . Your ACLS or BLS will be futile unless you have good Airway skills and have an understanding of the airway anatomy.

Dr. Enoh is a respected physician and anesthesiologist as testified by those who have worked with him.

Dr. Enoh is board certified in Anesthesiology, passing his exams on first attempt. He is a father and husband and when not in the OR he loves to work out at the gym and loves to travel and spend time with his family.

He loves country music and jazz and will drink a glass of Cabernet every now and then. He practices Mindfulness daily as a means to reset his body. He is a strong advocate of mental health as well as the importance of personal wellness and wellbeing and self care . He has spent most of the last 5 years reading literature on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, manage stress and identify signs and symptoms of burnout and how to prevent and treat these. Losing his own child who was born early and stayed in the NICU for 11 months before passing was a period of very difficult experiences for him and his family but the expectations were for him to shake it off and continue to provide the best care to his patients everyday. As a young medical student in Germany he learned early how to cope with tough times and he is a stoic person who will show compassion based on his life experiences because we all deserve it.
