Airway Skills from Basic
to Expert Proficiency

Dr. Enoh

Who we are:

We specialize in providing healthcare procedure training courses to healthcare providers.

Sometimes the training we get and I can testify to that, is of good quality but we are sometimes left feeling like we didn’t master the material. We still feel unprepared to go out there and face the challenges awaiting us. This is because training isn’t meant to waste time, it has to be done following a curriculum that specifies what should be taught and how much time should be spent on any given material. The rest is up to the trainee to figure out how to master the areas of weakness. Training in institutions is fast paced and even the smartest trainees are left overwhelmed. As an anesthesiologist, I see a big need in having health care personnel become more attuned with the understanding of these basic skills.

As you may already know the future of medicine is changing very rapidly. It seems like there is an ever increasing need for healthcare personnel but the landscape is changing. The need to have more and more skills outside of your basic training and area of practice is ever going to be of more value. Institutions are raising their expectations and insurance companies are making liability coverage based on our abilities. Part of stress at work comes from these high expectations and from some practitioners not feeling confident in their skills .Whether you are a nurse, a NP, a nurse anesthetist, an EMS provider, an anesthesiologist or a Physician in any other specialty we are being held to even higher standards and the need for more advanced skills and knowledge is paramount.

At Texas Airway Institute we offer training courses to improve your proficiency in basic skills such as, advanced cardiovascular life support(ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and basic life support (BLS) essential to have as a healthcare provider(physician, advanced practice provider or nurse). We also offer training courses in ultrasound guided peripheral and central line placement as well as airway management courses in intubation necessary for when a patient might need to be on mechanical ventilation.

I wish you good luck in your journey of becoming a better and more confident and skilled care provider.
